50th Jubilee Celebration


50th Reunion Celebration honoring the Classes of 1970 & 1971

Join us at Rose Hill on October 8 to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the Golden Jubilee for the Classes of 1970 & 1971! The reception will be held under the main Homecoming Tent on Edwards Parade.

The cost to attend is $50. A delicious selection of heavy hors'doeuvres and full bar are included in the reception price. Additionally, all registrants will receive a ticket to attend the Homecoming football game vs. the Wagner College Seahawks. 

A special Mass in honor of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 will be held at University Church ahead of the reception at 3:30 p.m. on October 8. Prior to Mass at 2:45 p.m., members of the Classes of 1970 and 1971 have the opportunity to join Maria Ruvoldt, Ph.D., associate professor of art history at Fordham and Michelangelo specialist, for an exclusive and insightful tour of Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Ceiling Fresco. Visit the beautiful reproduction made for an exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and now housed in Fordham University's Butler Commons. 

Looking for an alternative to the football game? Tickets are available to tour the New York Botanical Garden at an exclusive Fordham University group rate. The NYBG is located across the street from the Rose Hill Campus. Cost to attend is $20, space is limited! 

Parking on October 8 will be available on campus complimentary in the main parking garage.  

In need of a place to stay? The Marriott Residence Inn the Bronx at Metro Center Atrium is located right near the Rose Hill campus. The best rate can be secured by calling 718-239-3939, selecting option 2, and mentioning Fordham University Homecoming 2021. 

Members of the Class of 1971: For those who participated in the Bespoke Publishing yearbook project, copies will be available for pick-up at the celebration on October 8.

Please note, all attendees must provide proof of vaccination prior to entering campus. Guests under 12 years of age (hence unvaccinated) may enter campus with a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of entry. They can attend indoor events, but must be masked while indoors. Public Safety officers will check guests' proof of vaccination documents at campus entrances, so please allow extra time for these procedures.
