Maureen L. Beshar, FCLC '86, PAR '21
In 2017 Maureen founded and led the North American business for Robeco, a $200 billion Netherlands headquartered asset management firm. She and her team worked with institutional clients including Public and Corporate Pension Plans, Endowment and Foundations, OCIO’s and Investment Consultants, representing the quantitative and fundamentally driven equity and fixed income strategies which the firm managed.
Prior, Maureen led Global Institutional Distribution, Client Service and Marketing for Nuveen Investments where she was a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Additional affiliations include Head of Institutional Sales at ClearBridge Investments, Managing Director and Head of Global Consultant Relations at Lazard Asset Management, and Head of Global Consultant Relations at Invesco. Prior firms include Weiss, Peck & Greer, Smith Barney Capital Management, and Merrill Lynch, where she began her career.
Maureen is a graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center with a BA in Philosophy, and did additional graduate work in Psychology at Fairfield University. She has been involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters as a mentor, and conducts an annual event for Dress For Success, an organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve financial success through a network of support and developmental tools. Maureen is also the very proud mother of two daughters, one who currently attends Fordham, and a less proud wife in light of all her activities!
Errol Pierre, GABELLI '05
Errol Pierre is the Senior Vice President of State Programs at Healthfirst, Inc, the largest non-profit health plan
in New York State, serving 1.6 million members. In this role, he is accountable for growth, profit/loss, sales and
retention for the Medicaid, Long-Term Care, and Commercial product portfolios. Additionally, he provides
strategic and operational direction for Community Affairs and the company’s newly launched Health Equity
Foundation. As a result of many efforts in 2020, Errol Pierre was appointed to the Yonkers Health Equity
Taskforce by Mayor Mike Spano.
Prior to Healthfirst, Errol spent over 10 years at Empire BlueCross BlueShield, which is the largest for-profit
health plan in New York State serving close to 5 million members. Errol’s career in health care started at Empire
as an intern in 2003. Throughout his tenure, he held various leadership roles in Sales and Strategy, leaving the
company as the Chief Operating Officer in 2019.
A Bronx, New York resident, Errol graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration with a concentration in Finance. He later obtained a master’s degree in Health Policy and
Financial Management from New York University. In June 2021, he earned his doctoral degree, focused in Health
Equity. Errol is an an adjunct professor at New York University; teaching various courses in
Healthcare and Business. In his spare time, Errol volunteers for numerous non-profit organizations, and serves
as a board member of the Arthur Ashe Institute of Urban Health. He is a member of the national 100 Black Men’s
Health & Wellness Committee.
Lastly, he mentors both high school students and Fordham undergraduates in the Bronx. In 2020, he was
acknowledged as one of the Caribbean-American “Power 100” by Carib News and was awarded for
“Outstanding Community Service” by the Aesclepius Medical Society.
Ed Sisk, FCRH '85, PAR '24
Ed Sisk is a managing director and head of public finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and has been MSRB chair since October 1, 2019. During his time at the MSRB, Ed has created a governance committee to review the board’s composition, is in the process of conducting a CEO search and created a new stakeholder engagement committee.
During his time as chair, Ed has continued the MSRB’s efforts to migrate data storage to the cloud and add new tools to its EMMA site such as adding a submission calculator that more visibly tracks the timeliness of secondary market disclosures.
Ed is a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a law degree from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he joined Mudge Rose Guthrie and Ferdon in 1988 in its municipal bond department.
At Merrill Lynch, Ed leads a team of investment bankers, covering municipal issuers. Ed is also the parent of a current Fordham sophomore.
