Join Dean Rob Parmach (Freshman Dean at Fordham College Rose Hill) for a transformative week in rural Mississippi as an overnight camp counselor at Camp Friendship.
Camp Friendship, a long-time partner of Global Outreach at Fordham, services socioeconomically challenged 6-11 year old children, many of whom are in foster care.
Guided by the Ignatian tradition, you'll challenge your head, heart, and hands. Get ready for swimming, arts & crafts, games, and some of the best kids you'll ever meet!
Project Details:
- All meals, lodging, and local transportation are included
- Availability is limited. Team members will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
- This project is both faith-based and physically rigorous
- Several brief, pre-project team meetings will be scheduled around your availability
Cost:
Participants are responsible for round trip travel to/from Memphis International Airport (approximately $350 from NYC). All meals, lodging, and local transportation are included.
