Forever Fordham Alumni Book Club: The Complicities

We invite you to join us for the next Fordham Alumni Book Club! We will be reading The Complicites by Stacey D’Erasmo, associate professor of English at Fordham University. 

The book club will launch with an opportunity to meet the author and get your book signed at Homecoming on Saturday, September 17. We will then meet for two one-hour moderated discussions on Zoom. Sally Benner, FUAA (Fordham University Alumni Association) Chair will be moderating the first zoom discussion on Monday, October 3, 2022. Sarah Gambito, professor of English and director of creative writing at Fordham University, will be moderating the second discussion on Wednesday, Nov 2, 2022.

About the Author

Stacey D’Erasmo is the author of the novels Tea, A Seahorse Year, The Sky Below, Wonderland, and The Complicities; and the nonfiction book The Art of Intimacy: The Space Between. She is a former Stegner Fellow in Fiction, the recipient of a 2009 Guggenheim Fellowship in Fiction, and the winner of an Outstanding Mid-Career Novelist Prize from the Lambda Literary Foundation. She is an associate professor of writing and publishing practices at Fordham University. 

There are three different options for purchasing your copy of The Complicities. On the registration page, you will be asked to select one choice below.

- Purchase the book from Book Culture by September 14, to have it personalized. 
- Purchase the book at Homecoming on Saturday, September 17, to have it personalized and signed by the author. Please note that this option is cash only.
- Purchase the book on your own.
