On the Record is an annual celebration of past, present, and future excellence in news and sports broadcasting. November 1, 2017, WFUV will honor PBS NewsHour's Judy Woodruff and Gwen Ifill (posthumously) with the Charles Osgood Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism and Bob Wolff (posthumously), the Vin Scully Lifetime Achievement Award in Sports Broadcasting alongside two WFUV exceptional student broadcasters: Kacie Candela, FCRH '19 and John Furlong, FCRH '18.
All proceeds for this event go to WFUV's one-of-a-kind training program for Fordham University students. We hope you can join us in celebrating these remarkable broadcast journalists.
