Why should I claim my account and log in?

By claiming your account and logging into Forever Fordham, you get access to a set of features that have previously not been available online to our alumni.

To use these features, we need to be able to identify and verify who you are. Doing so protects you and other members by removing the ability to post items or to contact fellow users anonymously.

Forever Fordham is open to all Fordham alumni who have claimed an account and have logged in. It features:

What information do I need to claim my account and log into Forever Fordham?

In order to claim your account you will need your AccessIT ID, your one-time password* that was recently mailed to you, your college, degree, and year of graduation. Visit this homepage if you did not receive this information.

If you need further assistance, please call IT Customer Care at 718-817-3999.

*If you did not receive a one-time use password, and have previously claimed your account as a student or through FordhamCircle, all you need to do is log in using your AccessIT ID and password.

What if I am unable to claim my account?

If you are experiencing problems claiming your AccessIT ID, IT Customer Care will assist you in validating your personal information and take the proper steps to find a solution.

By creating a unique password, you can be assured that no one else will log into Forever Fordham with your name.

Can I change or customize my visible profile?

Yes. Once you have claimed your account and logged into Forever Fordham, you will have the option to change what information is visible to others.

You can see what information is visible to others by visiting your profile and clicking the "Community Profile" button on the top of the page.

To change what others can see, click edit on your profile and use the toggle Blue and white toggle switch that says "Show" to select which fields are visible to other members of the Forever Fordham Community.

How do I update my contact information?

Update Your Information

To access the "Update My Information" page in Forever Fordham you must be logged in.

Click edit on any section of your profile to update that information. Make sure to save your changes.

Please note: any edits made to your information can take up to 48 hours to update within our system.

Where does my data come from?

Information found in Forever Fordham comes from the Fordham University database. Updates to the data come from alumni/ae through updating information in the Forever Fordham directory, from other alumni/ae contact, and from various sources throughout the University. The data is securely maintained.

Alumni security and privacy are a fundamental priority for Fordham. iModules, based in the United States, has considerable experience in data management and commitment to high standards of security and privacy. The online solution is password protected and well secured.

Who controls the data and who sees it?

The alumni directory within Forever Fordham defaults so that other users can view your first name, last name, city, state, business city and state, employer, job title, occupation, school, and year. You could choose to display more or less information.

To change the default settings, visit your profile and click the edit button next to each section. Use the toggle A blue and white toggle switch that says "Show" to select which fields are visible to other members of the Forever Fordham Community.

An alumnus can email you through the system, but your email address will not appear to the user unless you have set this to show.
