A native Vermonter, Samantha was first inspired to attend Marymount by its strong support of women, commitment to service, and Catholic education. And in total honesty, the close proximity to NYC didn’t hurt either. From the freshman humanities seminar onward, Marymount provided the tools to analyze the world, and encouragement to fully engage to make a positive change. In her current role as Alumnae Board President, she hopes to build upon the relationships between Marymount and Fordham alumni, while also finding ways to build the Marymount spirit among current students.
Samantha is a Management and Program Analyst at the U.S. Department of the Treasury in Washington, D.C. In this role, she focuses on interagency collaboration, including leading the Financial Agencies Rotation Program. Prior to working in the government, she worked in financial services in Boston. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at The George Washington University School of Business.
